New Pokémon Paldean Fates Booster Set Introduces Exciting Shiny Cards

Najnowszy zestaw boosterów Pokémon Paldean Fates przynosi ze sobą wiele nowych kart

The highly anticipated Pokémon Paldean Fates booster set is set to be released soon, bringing with it a plethora of new cards to enhance your decks and collections. The set will be available starting Friday, January 26, 2024, for all those eager to upgrade their gameplay.

One of the most intriguing additions to this set is the introduction of Shiny Pokémon cards, which have been absent from the collector’s game for quite some time. Although the full set of cards has yet to be unveiled, GLHF has obtained exclusive access to three previously unrevealed cards that will be included in the set.

First up is Turtwig, the basic Pokémon in the Torterra evolutionary line. This card boasts the Solid Shell ability, reducing the damage it takes from attacks by 20 points. Despite having only 80 HP, this ability allows Turtwig to sustain itself on the battlefield, preparing the ground for its evolution into Torterra.

Next is Grotle, Turtwig’s evolution. With a whopping 120 HP, Grotle comes with a high retreat cost of four energies. While it lacks any special ability, it features two attacks. The first, Cut, requires one Grass energy and deals 20 damage. The second attack, Ramming Shell, calls for one Grass energy and two Colourless energies, dealing a hefty 50 damage while simultaneously reducing damage from all future attacks on Grotle by 20 points.

Lastly, the most impressive card in the set is Torterra EX. Belonging to one of the most powerful card types in the game, Torterra EX boasts an impressive 340 HP and a retreat cost of four energies. While it lacks any special ability, it possesses two formidable attacks. The first, Forest March, requires one Grass energy and deals 30 damage for each Grass-type Pokémon on the field, whether it’s yours or your opponent’s. The second attack, Jungle Hammer, demands one Grass energy and two Colourless energies, dealing a whopping 150 damage while also healing Torterra by 50 HP.

We can’t wait for all players to have the opportunity to test these new cards in action. Will they change the game and shift the balance in Pokémon TCG tournaments? We’ll find out very soon!
