Palworld Update Released for Xbox and Microsoft Store

Aktualizacja Palworld na Xbox i Microsoft Store

A new update patch with the number 0.1.1.0 has been released today by developer Pocketpair for the popular survival game Palworld on Xbox and Microsoft Store for PC. This update does not apply to the Steam version of the game. The patch aims to resolve specific issues for these versions.

At the moment, patch notes have not been made available; however, the developer mentioned on the Discord platform that it fixes “numerous bugs,” including a sound issue affecting the Xbox and Microsoft Store PC versions of the game.

Nevertheless, we also hear that the update is not without its own problems, which seem to be quite significant.

Xbox version:

  • The game launches on a static black screen.

Microsoft Store PC version:

  • The game launches on a static black screen.
  • The controller is not recognized.
  • Button prompts are not displayed correctly.
  • No exit game button.

Pocketpair informs that the developer is currently working on addressing these issues, but no specific timeframe has been provided.

Palworld is currently available on PC and Xbox, including the Game Pass version, which is accessible at no additional cost. The game has already sold over 5 million copies on Steam alone, not counting other platforms.

It has also achieved nearly 1.6 million concurrent players on the Valve platform, placing it third in history after PUBG and Counter-Strike 2. At this moment, according to data from the SteamDB monitoring website, there are 1,112,889 people playing the game on Steam.

Despite the game’s immense popularity, it has also faced heated controversies. Earlier today, the CEO of the developer condemned death threats and defamatory attacks against the artists working on the game.
