Inti Creates Announces Release of Umbraclaw on Multiple Platforms

Inti Creates ogłasza premierę gry Umbraclaw na wielu platformach

Inti Creates, a renowned game development company, has announced the digital release of their two-dimensional action game, Umbraclaw, on various platforms including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Steam platform on May 30, 2024. Alongside this exciting announcement, a teaser trailer showcasing the game’s visual style has been unveiled.

During the Steam Next Fest in February 2024, a demo version of the game will also be available for players to experience firsthand. The game revolves around the adventures of a cat named Kuon who, after death, finds itself in the underground realm known as Soulplane. The feline embarks on a journey to reunite with its owner, traversing the realm of the afterlife.

Directed by Satoru Nishizawa, the mastermind behind the Blaster Master Zero series, this project promises to provide a moderately challenging experience for players. A single strike spells instant death for Kuon, although the Anima Revive mechanic allows for the cat to be resurrected with a new ability by absorbing the soul of another creature. However, resurrection can only occur up to nine times.

Subsequently, after multiple deaths, Kuon takes on a human form specifically designed for combat. Throughout the gameplay, players will encounter other fallen souls venturing into the depths, and various endings can be achieved based on the choices and actions made.

In addition to the announcement of Umbraclaw, Inti Creates has revealed that they are currently working on a new project, which will be available for gaming enthusiasts to explore at the Pax East 2024 event. Only one teaser image has been provided, showcasing a slightly different direction for this developer’s upcoming creation.
