The Complete Edition includes the base game and the Burning Shores expansion, which was released on PlayStation last October. In addition to the game itself, players will receive additional elements such as an exclusive pose and face paint for the photo mode, as well as five in-game items: Carja Behemoth Elite costume and short bow, Nora Thunder Elite costume and Sling, Apex Clawstrider Machine Strike sight module fragment, and a pack of ammunition, elixirs, and a travel set.

For those who purchase the Complete Edition before the PC release, players will also receive the Blacktide Outfit and bow, as well as the Nora Legacy Outfit and spear, once they connect their Steam account to PlayStation.

As for PC-specific settings, details are provided on the PlayStation blog along with the game trailer. Developed by Nixxes Software in collaboration with Guerrilla Games, Horizon Forbidden West offers “unlocked fps, customizable graphics settings, and a wide range of performance-enhancing technologies.” Supported technologies include Nvidia DLSS 3 for scaling and frame generation, Nvidia DLAA, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS. Compatible computers can utilize DirectStorage for faster loading times.

Moreover, the game supports 21:9 ultra-wide, 32:9 super ultra-wide, and 48:9 resolutions, as well as full compatibility with triple monitors. Mouse and keyboard settings can be adjusted, and controller support includes the PlayStation DualSense controller with adaptive triggers, as well as Steam Input for mapping and customizing preferred peripheral devices.

System requirements for the PC version of Horizon Forbidden West have not yet been revealed by Sony, but the company promises to share them closer to the release date on Epic and Steam platforms.
