In Ghostrunner 2, you embody Jacek, the titular Ghostrunner, on a mission to put an end to the new evil – Mithra and his peculiar cult of cybernetic worshippers. Yes, you are fighting a cybernetic God, and yes, it is as epic as it sounds.
My review of Ghostrunner 2 gave the game a 9/10 rating, and let me tell you, the battle with the boss Rahu The Avatar is not exaggerated – it is one of my favorite boss fights in gaming history. And if you don’t believe me, just know that the game was also nominated for Best Action Game at the 2023 Game Awards – well-deserved.
Ghostrunner 2 offers a plethora of hacking, sword-slicing, and even motorcycle riding. The storyline is more cohesive, and the game world has been expanded to include a central zone. It’s everything we loved about Ghostrunner and Project: HEL, taken to the next level. And let’s not forget about the mind-blowing soundtrack.
