It’s an exciting time for Forza Horizon 5 fans! Playground Games has just announced a special four-week celebration for the Chinese New Year, starting on January 30th. This update will not only bring a festive atmosphere to the game, but also introduce new cars and attractions for players to enjoy.
One of the main highlights of this event is the transformation of the Stadium into a Drift Arena. This newly designed track will allow players to unleash their drifting skills and complete a thrilling lap. Every turn and corner on this track holds ancient drifting secrets, and players will have the opportunity to experience the adrenaline rush of mastering them. Be prepared for a smoke effect as you drive through certain areas and corners of the track. And keep an eye out for red dragons dancing on the track, creating rings for you to drive through. Explore the Stadium further and you might even discover the hidden Collector’s Firework Ornament.
During the Chinese New Year event, players can also look forward to the Autoshow featuring some amazing cars. Not only will 10 classic models, including the iconic 1990 Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer, the sleek 2010 Aston Martin One-77, and the powerful 2021 Lamborghini Sian Roadster be making a return, but there will also be 17 brand-new cars to explore. Among them are the impressive 2019 Hyundai Veloster N, the futuristic 2020 Xpeng P7, and the stylish 2021 Lynk & Co 03.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! As part of the Chinese Lucky Stars Car Pack, players will have the opportunity to unlock four additional cars, including the sleek 2022 Lynk & Co 05+, the futuristic 2023 MG Cyberster, the adorable 2022 Wuling Hongguang Mini EV Macaron, and the classic 2012 Volkswagen Santana. This car pack is available for a small fee of $4.99.
During the event, players can also expect new features and improvements. The night cycle will be extended, allowing for a more immersive gaming experience. Collectible items will be added, providing players with new goals and rewards. And the sound in the 2008 Aston Martin DBS car has been specially enhanced for an even more realistic and thrilling audio experience. The developers of the game have also taken the time to address various bugs and issues to ensure that players have the best possible gaming experience.
Once the Chinese New Year celebration comes to an end, Forza Horizon 5 will return to Europe for another incredible event. Stay tuned for more information from Playground Games!
