Edmund McMillen Discusses Potential Collaboration with Fortnite Creators

Edmund McMillen rozmawiał z twórcami Fortnite na temat potencjalnej współpracy

Edmund McMillen, the renowned creator of popular games such as Super Meat Boy, The Binding of Isaac, The End is Nigh, and The Legend of Bum-bo, recently confirmed in a post on X that he has been in discussions with the creators of Fortnite regarding a potential collaboration in the future.

While the details of these discussions remain unclear, it wouldn’t be the first time Fortnite has collaborated with an independent creator in the form of a crossover.

In 2022, Fortnite announced a collaboration with Among Us, which allowed players to receive crewmate cosmetics and the Distraction Dance emote if they purchased Among Us through the Epic Games Store. These items were later made available for individual purchase within Fortnite’s in-game store as well.

This decision initially caused some confusion between Epic and the creators of Among Us, Innersloth, but the situation was later clarified.

Over the weekend, Fortnite introduced the Huge Chicken skin from the Family Guy series, marking one of the most extravagant (and massive) additions to the game thus far.

Speculation also surrounds other upcoming crossovers, such as the long-awaited collaboration with Doctor Who (rumored to coincide with the release of the first season featuring Ncuti Gatwa in May) and whispers of something related to Pirates of the Caribbean.
