Embarking on a six-week adventure, I am thrilled to be participating in various industry events, eager to connect with as many individuals as possible. The journey commences at Gatherverse, where I will engage in a fireside chat alongside the renowned Christopher LaFayette. Our discussion will revolve around the current state of XR and the innovations we anticipate within the next 5 to 10 years.

Although I would have loved to attend VRAR EXPO CHINA 2024 in person, logistical constraints mandate my virtual presence. However, I welcome anyone attending the event to connect with me on platforms such as WeChat or LinkedIn, as I am open to exploring potential collaborations.

Soon after, I eagerly anticipate my trip to Helsinki, Finland for the XR Game Jam. Supporting aspiring XR game developers, I hope to foster connections within the vibrant Nordic XR scene. Fortunately, with my visit slated for May, I trust I won’t experience the December freeze that greeted me during my previous Helsinki visit.

In mid-June, I will be making my way to Long Beach, Los Angeles to attend the highly anticipated AWE event. As I embark on the long journey from Italy to California, I plan to extend my stay and visit Silicon Valley. Although it may be a challenge, I hope to connect with industry leaders and visit renowned companies in the Valley. Moreover, I have a personal goal to meet Palmer Luckey, capture a photo together, and engage in a conversation that surpasses the awkwardness of previous encounters.

Upon departing from the USA, I will be heading to Berlin, where I have the privilege of serving as a mentor in the XRCC hackathon. Building connections with talented individuals within the XR community is an exciting prospect, as we embark on a journey of innovation together.

Throughout this tour, I aim to make new friends, engage in meaningful discussions, and mutually enrich our knowledge within the XR industry. Additionally, I aspire to visit notable companies, particularly larger corporations like Unity, Google, NVIDIA, and Qualcomm. Finally, I’m eager to test new devices and conduct interviews with XR professionals, potentially exploring mind-blowing futuristic prototypes.
