A Fresh Take on T-Pain’s Involvement in Grand Theft Auto VI

T-Pain potwierdza udział w grze „Grand Theft Auto VI”

Music and gaming collide once again as T-Pain confirms his participation in the highly anticipated “Grand Theft Auto VI,” reaching new heights in his career within the world of computer games.

According to information shared by IGN, the “Buy U a Drank” artist verified his involvement in the much-awaited sequel to “GTA 5” during a live stream on January 12th. T-Pain revealed this exciting news while explaining his absence from the popular NoPixel server and his transition to a new role.

The NoPixel server operates independently, and Rockstar requested that T-Pain discontinue his roleplaying on NoPixel due to conflicts of interest with the upcoming “GTA 6.”

“Previously, I was on NoPixel, then I started working on GTA VI, and they told me I couldn’t do roleplay anymore because it would affect…they had this whole speech about how ‘It’s like someone took your album and remade it, and more people listened to it,’ and I was like, ‘Okay, it’s complicated, but fine, I had a good time.’ Alright, cool,” explained T-Pain in a recording captured by DJ Akademiksa.

However, T-Pain strongly criticized Rockstar Games for collaborating with the team behind roleplay servers like FiveM and RedM, despite telling him he could not use their platform.

“Then I started working on the game with them, and they’re teaming up with the people who do RP, and I’m like, ‘Yeah, wait, what? What the *bleep*? So you’re telling me I can’t do it, but then you’re teaming up with the people that enable RP?'” remarked T-Pain with a smile.

The highly anticipated “Grand Theft Auto VI” is set to be released in 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

“Grand Theft Auto VI takes us to the state of Leonida, into the neon-lit streets of Vice City and beyond, in the greatest and most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series,” the company announced in a press statement.
