A New Wishlist for Jamie in Street Fighter 6 Season 2

After the release of Street Fighter 6 Season 2, RG|Boltstrike, a seasoned player and one of the top Jamie players in the world, has shared his wishlist for improvements and tweaks for his favorite character, Jamie.

Instead of a video or other media content, Boltstrike opted for a literal wishlist containing seven key points of interest.

The most significant change that Boltstrike would like to experience is the potential removal of Jamie’s basic drinking level. He believes that the damage output during this phase is too low and the tools for initiating an attack are even less effective.

In line with this idea, Boltstrike proposes the introduction of an Overdrive, which is an accelerated version of Jamie’s special move “drinking,” similar to Hakan in Street Fighter 4.

Boltstrike also expressed his dissatisfaction with the changes made to Jamie in the game’s beta version, particularly the weak projectile resistance after performing the Bakkai breakdance kicks. He even suggested a change to the input to avoid accidentally executing the Arrow Kick during defense.

Other requests include enhancing combo consistency, such as ensuring that the back heavy punch target combo remains consistently true, not just when countering the opponent.

However, one proposal that Boltstrike rejects is the transfer of Jamie’s drinking level between rounds, similar to Manon’s medals. He believes that this could lead to wasting the first round in order to maximize the level 4 drinking in rounds two and three.

Similar to Boltstrike, former Capcom Cup champion iDom has also created his own wishlist for Manon in Street Fighter 6 Season 2, mostly focusing on simple improvements and consistency.

Although Boltstrike acknowledges that even with all his desired changes, Jamie would still remain an average character, he invites everyone to read his full post below and share their thoughts on the impact these changes would have on Jamie.
