ArcSine: A Physics-Based Puzzle Game for PC VR

ArcSine: Polski physics-based precision puzzle platformer dostępny wkrótce na PC VR

ArcSine, a new game developed by Prop Logic, is soon coming to the PC VR platform. Inspired by titles like Celeste, Sairento, and Portal, ArcSine is a physics-based puzzle platformer. The gameplay revolves around a “jump & dash” locomotion system, where players shoot themselves from a “gun” to move between platforms, avoid dangers, and reach the portal at the end of each level. To make movement easier for players, ArcSine utilizes an automatic centering system that places the player in the middle of their game space, as well as an air control system for navigating the environment.

With approximately 340 levels of increasing difficulty, ArcSine is described as a challenging, linear experience devoid of narrative. It requires patience and determination, as players will often have to make multiple attempts before achieving success. Charlie Cushing, the founder of Prop Logic, refers to the game as “highly physical,” with no smooth or jumpy camera rotation, and only a small amount of physical space needed to play.

ArcSine is designed for players who appreciate skill in solving movement-related problems. According to Charlie Cushing in a press statement, it is a game that rewards intense focus and perseverance, regardless of one’s mental health. In a follow-up email to UploadVR, Cushing also shared a sample of the game’s soundtrack, composed by Adam Coleman.

ArcSine is set to debut on PC VR on February 19th. A free demo version of the game is already available on the Steam platform. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure with precise puzzles and challenges that will test your patience.
