If you’re in the market for a new gaming computer but tired of the same old boring cases, Cooler Master might have the solution for you. The renowned computer component brand recently introduced their new gaming computer, the Sneaker X, to Malaysia. Despite its unconventional design, you can actually own one, as long as the high price tag is not a problem for you.

The idea for the Sneaker X gaming computer came about towards the end of 2020 when a well-known computer modder from Thailand, Juggapat Thonglue, also known as JMDF, submitted his proposal called JMDF Sneaker to the Cooler Master Case Mod Series 2020 competition. The project received recognition and was chosen as one of the best in the artistic design category. Cooler Master was so impressed with the design that they decided to collaborate with JMDF and create a version of the Sneaker that could be purchased by regular users as well.

The Sneaker X made its global debut at Computex 2023 and is now finally hitting the market in Malaysia. Currently, only a few units are available through two retailers, Viewnet and Emarque.

The standard components for the Sneaker X version in Malaysia, regardless of the retailer, include a classic-style red case and the Cooler Master 850W V850 SFX Gold power supply. For cooling the 14th generation Intel Core i7-14700F processor, which is the standard choice for the Malaysian version, Cooler Master has installed the MasterLiquid PL360 Flux CPU liquid cooler. The computer also includes an ASUS ROG Strix B760-I Gaming WiFi motherboard, a 400mm long PCI-E 4.0 x16 riser cable, and a fan and ARGB controller.

As for the graphics card, RAM, and SSD, it depends on the chosen retailer. For example, the Viewnet version is equipped with a ZOTAC GeForce RTX 4070 Super Twin Edge OC graphics card, 32GB of PNY XLR8 Mako DDR5-6000 RAM, and a 1TB CS2241 NVMe Gen4 M.2 SSD. Meanwhile, the Emarque version features an ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4070 Ti OC Edition graphics card, 32GB of Kingston Fury Beast DDR5-5600 RAM, and a 1TB KC3000 NVMe Gen4 M.2 SSD.

The price of the Sneaker X computer in the Viewnet version is RM 11,749, while the Emarque version is slightly more expensive at RM 13,999. However, if you prefer a different set of components, Emarque is open to your suggestions.
