EA Sports Madden HBCU Tournament Welcomes New Finalists

Dawno oczekiwany turniej EA Sports Madden HBCU rozpoczyna się z nowymi finalistami

The highly anticipated EA Sports Madden HBCU tournament is back with a fresh group of finalists. Last year’s tournament saw the participation of Micah Parsons, a Dallas Cowboys player and perennial Defensive Player of the Year contender. As the NFL season comes to a close and the Pro Bowl approaches, the fourth annual edition of the EA Sports Madden HBCU tournament is on the horizon. This year, the tournament will take place in the week leading up to the NFL Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

The finalists for the HBCU Madden tournament have been announced, and they are: Dametri Hill from Fort Valley State, DaSean Wade Neclos Jr. from North Carolina A&T, Alon Anwoju from Albany State, Egypt Garrett and Kiara Davis from Tennessee State, as well as Taylor Adams, Ernest Walker, and Germaine Bozeman from Florida A&M. These finalists will have the opportunity to travel to Orlando for both the games and a unique experience at the EA Studios. After going through eliminations and submitting video recordings, they will participate in a studio visit to learn more about the sports industry and computer games business.

“The Madden HBCU tournament is a prime example of the NFL’s commitment to integration and accessibility in both traditional sports and esports,” said Ed Kiang, Vice President of NFL Video Games. “The program has been dynamically growing for the past four years, representing 56 HBCU schools, and player participation has increased by 200% year after year. We can’t wait to showcase the Pro Bowl matches for this year’s finalists and provide them with an unforgettable experience.”

In addition to the tournament, the finalists will have the opportunity to meet some NFL players and receive tickets to the Pro Bowl match. The tournament will be hosted by Ahman Green, former running back for the Green Bay Packers, Tiffany Greene, an ESPN commentator and graduate of Florida A&M, and DeSean Jackson, former wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles.
