Armadillo Updates
Following persistent feedback and suggestions from the community, the Game Developers have heard the players’ wishes and responded perfectly. Now, when the armadillo mob is curled up, its shell provides protection, reducing the damage it takes. Against weak attacks, such as a regular hit, the armadillo absorbs all the damage.
This surprising change may lead players to discover minigames that involve hitting armadillos. Despite sounding awful, remember that this cute creature won’t take any damage in the process in Minecraft 1.21.
Additionally, the armadillo will now remember its last attacker. So, even if you harm the armadillo and slowly approach it, it will stay curled up for protection.
Breeze Enhancements
The new hostile creature, Breeze, in Minecraft 1.21 has become even more formidable in snapshot 24W04A. Breeze is now aggressive towards iron golems, in addition to players. Defeating Breeze has become slightly more challenging, although iron golems can still defeat Breeze with two or three hits.
On the contrary, Breeze has stopped attacking other Minecraft mobs in the Trial Chambers, such as skeletons, archers, zombies, strays, spiders, cave spiders, and slimes. These mobs will also no longer attack Breeze, so you can no longer rely on that tactic.
Lastly, when creating a new world, you can now enable the “Allow Commands” option instead of the previous “Allow Cheats” option.
