Game Cheaters Exploiting Developer Tools in Call of Duty

Hakery gier Warzone i MW3 mają nielegalny dostęp do narzędzi deweloperów Ricochet

Reports have surfaced that cheaters playing Warzone and MW3 gained illicit access to the Ricochet anti-cheat system in Call of Duty. This enabled them to utilize developer tools to ban players at will, regardless of their actions in the game.

In a leaked screenshot shared by @ItsHapa, a hacker is seen intending to ban a player for alleged infractions. Cheaters exploit this ability to block other players for activities such as cheating, offensive text chat, abusive voice chat, text spam, and various other violations. Bans can range from temporary to permanent, with complete control resting in the hands of the hackers.

Furthermore, cheaters have the capability to issue these bans infinitely – up to 100 times – resulting in an indefinite period of blockage for the banned player.

It is important to note that these reports come from third-party sources and have yet to be officially confirmed by Call of Duty. Therefore, it is advised to treat them with caution. Nevertheless, if these allegations are true, developers must address this issue swiftly.

Call of Duty is currently grappling with an excess of bans and restrictions on players without clear reasons, solely based on suspicions.
