2. In the properties window, choose the “Betas” tab on the left.
3. In the “Beta Participation” section, click the dropdown menu and select “csgo_legacy.”
4. Steam will re-download CS:GO during the next startup.
5. To switch back to CS2 after the tournament, follow steps 1 and 2 again, and then set “Beta Participation” back to “None.”

Bracket Placement

The tournament will be conducted using a double-elimination system. Teams will be randomly placed on the bracket after the check-in process.

Match Progression

Matches will be conducted following detailed procedures to ensure consistent settings.

Lobby

Tournament staff will create and manage the game lobbies. We will announce on the tournament’s Discord server when the lobbies are ready and which teams should join them. Make sure to regularly check the tournament’s Discord server to not miss your game slot.

Map Selection

Both teams will participate in the map selection process. The following steps will be applied to determine the map for each match:

1. The team with the lower number will ban one map from the pool.
2. The team with the higher number will ban the next map.
3. Teams will take turns selecting maps until there are only two remaining.
4. The team with the higher number will have the final choice between the two remaining maps.
5. The team with the lower number will have the choice of which side to start the game on.

Substitutions

If your team requires a substitute player, they must already be registered as a tournament participant. Please inform the tournament staff if the substitution will cover multiple matches.

Reporting Results

We will have a dedicated channel on the tournament’s Discord server for reporting match results. After the match is finished, please provide the winner’s information and a screenshot of the final game results in the channel. Statistics will be awarded, so include a screenshot of the match results.
