Sledgehammer Games przenosi się z biur w Kalifornii

Employees at Sledgehammer Games, currently working from their main office in California, will be transitioning to remote work this year. According to a report by Insider-Gaming, a meeting was held last week to inform all employees about the plan to downsize the Sledgehammer Games office. While an exact moving date has not been provided, employees have been asked to work from home until the end of the year.

Just a month ago, Activision mandated their QA team members to work in their offices in Austin, Minneapolis, and El Segundo five days a week, despite many team members requesting the option to continue working from home.

Unknown Activision employees referred to Sledgehammer’s decision as a “slap in the face” to Activision. Following the announcement, the ABK Workers Alliance issued a statement stating that Sledgehammer Games’ decision further demonstrates that Activision could have accommodated the requests of the QA employees, but the studio chose not to do so.
