“I want to find a place to join the Air Force and learn how to fly, preferably as a tanker or any passenger aircraft, because after my service, I want to dedicate my time and serve. And then, once I’ve accumulated flight hours, I’ll most likely retire from the military and transition into the commercial industry,” shared Grady Vanidestine.
Whether cadets choose to join the military after high school or pursue other paths, the instructors at AFJROTC Brewer are pleased to know that they are preparing them for whatever lies ahead.
“It is life-changing for us to know that we have prepared them for success beyond these hallways at Brewer High School, whether they go on to college or different careers. Knowing that they are equipped to face those challenges because of the experiences they’ve had here is truly rewarding,” said Colonel Hardie.
