NieR Re[in]carnation: A Journey to Remember

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the end of services and events for the game NieR Re[in]carnation. The final chapter, titled “The People and the World,” is set to be released on March 28, 2024, with the official end of the game’s service scheduled for April 29, 2024, at 10:00 PM PST.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our players for their support over the past 2.5 years since the game’s release on July 28, 2021. Until the end of the service, we will continue to add new content, characters, and host various events and campaigns. We hope you will enjoy NieR Re[in]carnation until the very end.

Game Content Updates:

Main Story: The game will conclude with the third act, titled “Transmigration,” which will be released on March 28 at 6:00 PM PST.

Quests:

• From January 30 to February 17, the “Blazing Binding Oculus” quest (New Event) will take place until 5:59 PM PST.
• From February 8 to February 25, the “Garden of Benediction” quest (Revival Event) will be available until 5:59 PM PST.
• From February 17 to April 29, the “The Cage of Rebirth” quest (New Event) will run until 9:59 PM PST.
• From February 22 to March 10, the “Foundation of Fortune” quest (Revival Event) will be accessible until 5:59 PM PST.
• From February 28 to March 17, the “Happy Home” quest (Revival Event) will be open until 5:59 PM PST.
• From March 7 to April 29, the “Eternal Steps” quest (Revival Event) will be available until 9:59 PM PST.
• From March 14 to April 29, the “Ritual of Reverie” quest (Revival Event) will run until 9:59 PM PST.

Exchange of Medals from Revival Events:

Starting from February 8 at 6:00 PM PST, players will have the opportunity to exchange medals obtained from revival events for characters, weapons, companions, and memories from previous quests.

Mama Point Missions:

In February, we plan to run a campaign where players can acquire double the amount of mama points to facilitate the acquisition of “Remnants.” We also intend to launch a campaign that will reduce the required number of mama points to obtain any “Remnant” in the mama point exchange system.

Adjustment of Rewards from Daily Missions:

Due to the discontinuation of item sales in the Premium Shop, starting from January 23 at 12:00 AM PST, the number of “Skip Tickets” obtainable from daily missions will be adjusted.

Recollections of Dusk and Others:

• On February 11 at 6:00 PM PST, the “Recollections of Dusk” quests for the character Argo (Frozen-Heart Adventurer) will be released.
• Season 008, which started on November 13, 2023, will be the final subjugation season and will be extended until April 29, 2024, until 9:59 PM PST.
• The Arena will continue to operate according to its schedule, with Season 037 commencing on February 19 at 6:00 PM PST. This will be the last update for the Arena.
• Fate Board: Ternary, released on January 18, 2024, at 6:00 PM PST, will be the final stage added to the board. After February 1, 2024, Fate Board: Ternary and Fate Board: Shadow will be permanently available.
• All event stories and card stories will be available for reading from March 28, 2024, at 6:00 PM PST.

Story Completion Countdown Event:

As a token of appreciation to all NieR Re[in]carnation players, we are planning to hold an event called the Story Completion Countdown Event. During this event, various campaigns will take place, including the opportunity for 10 free draws daily, special character appearances, and weekly gem presents.

Campaigns during the Story Completion Countdown Event:

• The “The People and the World New Chapter” campaign will run from January 22 to February 4 and will increase the chances of acquiring items related to the main story.
• The 3rd-anniversary campaign for the Japanese version will be held from February 1 to February 17 and will introduce increased chances of obtaining items from dungeons and special missions.
• The “Japanese 3rd Anniversary” campaign will begin on February 17 and continue until March 7. This event will feature a new event and festival-themed costume draws.
• The “Final Chapter Countdown” campaign will run from February 28 to March 28, featuring draws for new characters from the “Abstract” series and increased chances of obtaining items related to specific quests and daily missions.
