Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super: rewolucyjna karta graficzna dla wymagających graczy

Nvidia has once again revolutionized the market with the release of their latest graphics card, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super. Offering exceptional performance for gamers, this card is undoubtedly one of the best in its generation. However, assessing its value can be challenging due to certain limitations.

Priced at $799.99 for the US market, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super is essentially a scaled-down version of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080. It comes with 16 GB of GDDR6X VRAM and an expanded 256-bit memory interface, allowing for smooth gameplay in the best computer games at 4K resolution, with a slightly reduced power draw. Unfortunately, the performance of this card is only marginally better than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti model, despite significant technical improvements.

In terms of design, the absence of a Founders Edition for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super is a disappointment. This means that we don’t get the sleek, black metallic finish that was characteristic of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super model. Instead, we have various partner cards available on the market, such as Asus and MSI, each offering different options for overclocking, cooling, and RGB lighting effects.

The Asus Tuf Gaming model, which I had the opportunity to review, is identical to the Asus Tuf Gaming RTX 4070 Ti model and is a powerful, triple-slot monster. Given its high power requirements and need for efficient heat dissipation, regardless of which RTX 4070 Ti Super model you choose, you can expect to receive a monstrous graphics card.

In terms of performance, it is worth noting that the Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti Super is practically on par with the Nvidia RTX 4080, which we should have expected earlier. It is one of the best 4K graphics cards on the market, delivering excellent gaming performance. The only situation where it struggles is with native 4K ray tracing.

Even in this scenario, the card achieves an average of around 32 frames per second, which can occasionally result in slight stuttering. Unfortunately, the competing AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT card further complicates this situation. Apart from CUDA-based creative workloads such as Blender or V-Ray, the RX 7900 XT matches the performance of the RTX 4070 Ti Super, although the latter handles ray tracing better.

What is incredibly surprising is that AMD’s latest FSR technology performs just as well as Nvidia’s DLSS, with the only difference being the highest level of ray tracing settings. With the price reduction to $749.99 for the RX 7900 XT in the United States, anyone considering purchasing the RTX 4070 Ti Super will have to weigh whether it is worth opting for this card.

Furthermore, the situation is complicated by the fact that Nvidia plans to launch the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Super model at the end of January. Despite its 25% higher suggested price compared to the RTX 4070 Ti Super, the price of this card is comparable to the significantly superior RTX 4080 model, making it worth waiting a week and investing in a better card. It’s a shame that the fantastic Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super card didn’t arrive on the market earlier.
