Nvidia has once again demonstrated its commitment to advancing video technology with the introduction of RTX Video HDR. This new technology, announced as part of the latest driver update, leverages artificial intelligence and RTX Tensor cores to dynamically remap standard dynamic range (SDR) video to high dynamic range (HDR10) video, enhancing visibility, details, and vibrant colors in streamed content.

RTX Video HDR can be used in conjunction with the previously released RTX Video Super Resolution, significantly improving the quality of all streaming media, including live broadcasts. While the addition of RTX Video Super Resolution was already impressive and well-received, this new update takes things even further. With Nvidia’s ongoing innovative efforts in the gaming industry, we can hope to see similarly impactful innovations in the field of video technology.
