Quinn Reaches the Top of Dota 2’s Pub Rating

Quinn osiąga szczyt punktacji MMR w Dota 2

Quinn “Quinn” Callahan from the Gaimin Gladiators team reached a milestone of 13K MMR (Matchmaking Rating) on January 23rd and shared a screenshot of his achievement with fans on X (formerly known as Twitter). Last week, Quinn surpassed Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov from the Entity team, taking the first spot in the Dota 2 ranking. This impressive accomplishment is a testament to Quinn’s skills as an individual player, solidifying his position as one of the best professional Dota 2 players.

Now, Quinn has set his sights on maintaining his position at the top of the leaderboard while facing tough competition from watson. After Quinn secured the impressive 13K MMR milestone, watson had briefly claimed the top spot after surpassing Ilya “Kiritych” Ulanov from the Virtus.pro team. However, Quinn made a comeback and emerged as the ultimate victor.

The question now arises as to whether watson will be able to hold onto his leading position or if Quinn will once again dethrone him.

In addition to his personal achievements, Quinn’s team, the Gaimin Gladiators, will be participating in the upcoming BetBoom Dacha 2024 Dubai tournament. This offline event, taking place in Dubai, boasts an impressive prize pool of $1 million and kicks off on February 4th. It will be the first major tournament for the Gaimin Gladiators, and the team will strive to showcase their finest gameplay.

Although Gaimin Gladiators had a disappointing end to 2023, despite winning the majority of tournaments throughout the year, they were defeated by the Azure Ray team in the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 finals, leaving a bitter taste of defeat.
