Rebel Wolves’ Upcoming RPG, Dawnwalker, Enters Alpha Stage

Nowa gra Rebel Wolves, Dawnwalker, przeszła do etapu alfa

Rebel Wolves, a Polish game development studio founded by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, has announced that they are working on a new game titled “Dawnwalker,” which is set to be their first major project. Since the studio’s establishment and the registration of several domains, rumors have been circulating about the potential title of their game. Rebel Wolves confirmed their work on an AAA game called Dawnwalker and released several wallpapers and graphics to give fans a taste of what’s to come.

Joining the Rebel Wolves team as the new Creative Director is Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, Konrad’s brother, who has previously worked on The Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077.

In an official press statement earlier this month, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz mentioned that their “upcoming fantasy-style RPG has officially entered the alpha stage” and that the team will share more updates throughout the year.

While no further details have been revealed yet, the studio is actively seeking individuals to fill various positions. On their official website, they have job postings for a combat designer and a tool programmer.

During an interview, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz also mentioned that their first AAA game will not be as impressive as The Witcher or Cyberpunk 2077, but it will feature a significantly greater number of tasks and challenges.

The decision to use Unreal Engine 5 for building their first AAA game was influenced by its convenience and superiority compared to other engines. As Dawnwalker is currently in the alpha phase, we don’t expect to receive quick updates about the game.

From what has been revealed so far and the talented developers working on the game, it appears to be a significant improvement over CDPR’s previous AAA titles.
