Rebirth Island Set to Return to Call of Duty: Warzone Sooner than Expected

Raven Software podpowiada, że Rebirth Island w Warzone powróci wcześniej niż Fortune’s Keep

After much anticipation, it seems that Rebirth Island will be making its comeback to Call of Duty: Warzone earlier than initially planned. While Activision previously announced a mid-2024 return for Rebirth Island and the release of Fortune’s Keep at the beginning of the same year, there have been recent developments that indicate a potential acceleration of the process.

With the release of the Warzone Season 1 Reloaded update, Raven Software unveiled the return of the Specialist Perk Bundle to the battle royale game mode. The bundle was previously held atop an infamous tower on the map.

Although this doesn’t provide concrete confirmation, both the fans’ demand and the intentions of the creators seem clear with this allusion. Furthermore, Activision has yet to reveal any details about another map set to arrive in early 2024, which opens up the possibility for Call of Duty to expedite the return of its most popular map.

Rebirth Island was introduced to Warzone on December 16, 2020, as a significant part of the Black Ops Cold War integration. Ever since its debut, the Resurgence map quickly became a favorite among fans, who spent countless hours playing on it. Unfortunately, the developers removed the map when they integrated Warzone with Modern Warfare 2 and decided to take the battle royale game mode in a new direction.

However, fans have never been satisfied with this decision and continuously clamored for the return of the map. Given the circumstances, we can now speculate that the Resurgence map may make a comeback as part of the Season 3 Warzone update. What are your thoughts on the map’s return to this battle royale game mode? Let us know in the comments.
