On January 8, 2024, David Sims, an 82-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, passed away due to natural causes. For 35 years, he worked as an accountant at American Electric Power and proudly served in the United States Navy. David Sims was a loving father, a wonderful brother, and an excellent friend to those who had the pleasure of knowing him. While his departure has saddened us all, he will always remain in our hearts.

David Sims is survived by his children: Chris Sims, Allen (Margo) Sims, and Jenna Sims, as well as his grandchildren: Matthew and Lincoln, and his siblings: Diana and Jerry. His impact on the lives of his loved ones cannot be overstated – he was a source of support and inspiration for his children, a loving grandfather, and deeply connected to his siblings.
