Designed to power his Home Racing Simulator, this setup pushes the boundaries of innovation and creativity within the gaming community.

A striking detail of this creation is the inventive placement of an ATX motherboard and a 240mm AIO liquid cooling radiator inside the wheel. Both components sit on simple wooden bases, showcasing that intricate metalworking skills are not necessary to create a visually stunning computer setup.

Describing the setup as a seamless integration of high-performance elements within a sleek and reversible casing would be apt. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card, fueling Jon’s favorite games like Assetto Corsa and PUBG, fits snugly without the need for additional support bases or PCIe cable extensions.

Playing a supportive role in the construction is a 20-inch Asanti Black Label wheel, valued at $350 each, generously provided by a wheel and tire store. Jon opted for the black version of the wheel, serving as the computer’s casing. The finish not only exudes a stunning aesthetic appeal but the dark color scheme offers a sense of mystery, cleverly concealing cable management.

In addition to the Intel processor and Nvidia graphics card, Jon’s setup is equipped with 2×16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 memory, Samsung 970 Pro 2TB M.2 SSD, Samsung 980 1TB M.2 SSD, Asus Prime B660-Plus D4 motherboard, and EVGA Super Nova 750 G5 750W power supply. System cooling is handled by the ID-Cooling Frostflow 240 AIO liquid cooling radiator and a 92mm be quiet! Pure Wings 2 fan positioned at the center of the wheel.

Jon’s other modifications include adding RGB lighting to the Strimer RGB power cable, integrating a custom red power button, and installing additional RGB LED strips on the inner edge of the wheel.

Though assembly may seem relatively straightforward, the end result is a stunning masterpiece that harmoniously blends aesthetics with functionality. The setup complements Jon’s Racing Simulator, complete with a Logitech G920 steering wheel known for its precision and realism, featuring three pedals and a mounted gear shifter.

Jon’s setup is rounded out by the LG UltraGear QHD 34GP63A-B monitor, a JVC 32” television, the Durgod K310 Taurus Nebula keyboard with Cherry MX Black switches and customized keycaps. For gaming, Jon prefers the Corsair Harpoon RGB mouse paired with a Belkin WaveRest F8E262-BLK mousepad. Audio accessories include the Logitech X-230 speakers with a subwoofer, Razer Nari Ultimate gaming headset, and JLab Flex BT or JBL Quantum 400 headphones for music.
