Square Enix Introduces Exciting New Features to Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster

Square Enix wprowadza nowe funkcje do Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster

Square Enix has recently announced that the PC version of Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster has received a new patch. This update includes font and background music (BGM) updates, both taken from the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions of the games. These new features are now available in the Steam version of the game through the 1.1.0 update.

While the specific changes introduced by the patch may vary for each game, there are three main new features that are present in all six titles. This means that all six Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games on Steam have been updated to provide the option to choose between “classic” and “modern” font styles, original or remastered soundtracks, and the ability to use cheats. Cheats are described as “supportive features” that allow players to adjust the amount of experience points and in-game currency, such as EXP and gil.

Unfortunately, the company did not share any screenshots or trailers showcasing the changes. However, each title will also include a few additional minor additions. These new options include the ability to browse the in-game bestiary without returning to the main menu, as well as the ability to adjust the character movement speed. Additionally, players can now load new saves directly from the in-game menu, instead of solely relying on the save points.

Alongside these updates, Square Enix has also started a sale on the Steam platform for each of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games. Individual titles are now 20% cheaper, and the bundle featuring all six games can be purchased with a 38% discount. The bundle is currently priced at $59.84 USD until February 13, 2024, while the first two titles can be acquired at $9.59 USD each, and the remaining three parts, from FFIII to FFVI, are available for $14.39 USD each. Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games are available on PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices, and the 1.1.0 patch update is now available for all six games on Steam. The Steam sale will run until February 13, 2024.
