The Evolution of Gaming: T-Pain and Rockstar Games Collaborate on Grand Theft Auto 6

Nowy Rozwój w Światku Gier: T-Pain i Rockstar Games na Razem w Grand Theft Auto 6

In recent news, there have been reports about a collaboration between T-Pain (real name: Faheem Rashad Najm) and Rockstar Games for the upcoming game Grand Theft Auto 6. During a recent livestream that has been making rounds on social media, T-Pain revealed that he is working on Grand Theft Auto 6.

In response to a fan’s question about the game Grand Theft Auto Online, T-Pain explained his activity on the NoPixel server, where he previously participated but was asked to leave due to a conflict of interest. “I used to be on NoPixel, then I started working on Grand Theft Auto 6, and [Rockstar] told me that I couldn’t continue with role-play because it was somewhat contradictory to their rules. They had this whole speech about how it would be if someone took your album and re-recorded it, and more people listened to it. I understood it in some way, but I was really having a good time,” said T-Pain.

“Then I started working on the game with them,” he added.

Last August, Rockstar confirmed its collaboration with the Cfx.re team, responsible for the FiveM server for Grand Theft Auto. “For the past couple of years, we have been fascinated by how the creative Rockstar community finds new ways to expand the possibilities of Grand Theft Auto 5, especially through the creation of dedicated roleplay servers. By collaborating with the Cfx.re team, we will help them find new ways to support this incredible community and improve the services they offer to their developers and players,” Rockstar said in a statement at the time.

T-Pain shared his thoughts about this during his livestream: “What a foolishness, they told me I couldn’t do it, and now they’re collaborating with people who create RP.”

Although neither T-Pain nor Rockstar have confirmed how the rapper is contributing to Grand Theft Auto 6, fans believe that the studio is recruiting artists from Florida to help shape the world of the upcoming game, in which players will return to the Miami Vice City setting.

Rockstar officially confirmed Grand Theft Auto 6 in December of last year, with the game set to be released in 2025.

Meanwhile, Ozzy Osbourne described T-Pain’s rendition of the classic Black Sabbath song “War Pigs,” which features on T-Pain’s 2023 cover album titled “On Top Of The Covers,” as the “best” after the live performance video went viral.

In other news, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy stated that the streaming platform is not profitable, following multiple layoffs at the company.
