Universal’s Epic Universe: A Spectacular New Adventure Awaits in Orlando
Universal Orlando Resorts has recently shared exciting details about their upcoming theme park, Universal’s Epic Universe. Set to open in 2025 in Orlando, Florida, this highly anticipated fourth theme park promises an extraordinary experience with 50 awe-inspiring attractions.
The first entrance to the park, titled “Celestial Park,” offers a glimpse into picturesque gardens, shimmering waters, and architectural elements inspired by astronomy and mythology. This section features attractions such as Starfall Racers, a thrilling dual-launch roller coaster, and the central highlight – the Constellation Carousel. With its captivating design, Celestial Park truly captures the essence of a thematic masterpiece, as stated by Mark Woodbury, President and CEO of Universal Destinations & Experiences, a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.
In addition to these attractions, Celestial Park will also feature a cosmic-themed carousel that moves forward and backward, dancing fountains, the Super Star Nintendo store, and a variety of dining options. Another entrance, “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic Portal,” combines the enchantment of 1920s Paris with the beloved Harry Potter series.
Super Nintendo World, the third of its kind in the Universal family, invites visitors to explore an interactive world of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Donkey Kong through a green pipe. “How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk” expands on the dragon riding theme from Germany, allowing guests to become part of the Berk community as they soar through the air with dragons and experience the adventures of the animated films. The final entrance, “Dark Universe,” takes us into Universal’s cinematic history, showcasing iconic black and white creatures and updating their mythology for the modern audience.
For those interested in an extended stay, the new Universal Helios Grand Hotel offers 500 rooms with exceptional views of Epic and a dedicated entrance to the theme park.
